Living in Utah was always an adventure. This background makes me so home sick. If you take the drive up Timpanogas Canyon, as you get near the top there are several little waterfalls. Sidetrack: I love to take pictures. One day I went for a drive up this canyon as I finished my pictures of the waterfalls a storm rolled in. One of these make the whole day gray spring storms. By this time I was on top of the mountain, the clouds were all over and the smell of rain was so strong you could taste it. This is one of my most precious memories, and one of the reasons I miss living in Utah. I miss the mountains, the trees, the rivers, the waterfalls, the two springs and two falls. Let me explain, spring comes to the valley, then the mountains, the same with fall, too the mountains, then the valley. I miss knowing if we want to go camping it's just half an hour up the canyon. The saying says, "You can't go home again." I have know idea what that is suppose to mean, but all I need to do is think of those waterfalls and that storm, and I'm home again.
What makes you think of home?

I would gladly trade you in a minute. I am so not a fan of Utah! And this winter, I wish it were over three months ago! {Sigh} I am going to have to learn to love it! The mountains are beautiful and Timpanogas Canyon is beautiful in the spring. We hiked it last year. If it were summer year round and the people here were nicer, I would love it here. But the snow, and Utah mormons ARE KILLING ME! (Sigh} I am going to have to learn to love it.
Sorry for the ranting. I know all people aren't that way here. Your not at all, but you were smart enough to marry into our family! ;)
