Changes

In the last few months lots of changes have come into our lives. The new Prophet and First Presidency, a new Relief Society Presidency ect. I find it odd how some people accept change. Some people roll with the punches, they are content to just let things do whatever they are going to do. Others fight change for whatever reason. Then there are those that try to fight it or say they don't like it and then just let the change happen without another word. My whole life I have been told The Lord made the calling you need to pray about it and get your own witness. I have to wonder if we were all told that or even know that. This has been on my mind for some time now. People saying, "Well I don't know then, or how long have they been here?" Do we have to know someone for them to get a calling? Does it matter if someone moved here yesterday or twenty years ago? NO! The Lord has made him call, it is now up to us to support them.
Sorry about the rant it has just been really bugging me that people take change so badly.

I totally understand. I am one of those who question and then accept. I think the changes will be good for the RS...

Who's in the RS now? I'm always excited for a change. Every person has something different they can bring to a calling. It's fun to see what the Lord has in store. Sometimes I am curious why a person is called, but I've always been taught that someone is called into a position because they need to grow and/or because they are the person that can touch another to help them grow.

Stephanie Barrus is still the Secretary, Annie Vincent and Laurie Evans are the Counselors and Sherri Mitchell is the President... She is fairly new, seems to be catching on quickly though.

Hey Geniel! Cute blog. Hope your kids are feeling better. Jay can barely handle ours so I don't think you would want to send yours to him. :)
