For the last 3 Saturdays I have been doing CERT training. <a href="http://www.citizencorps.gov/cert/">http://www.citizencorps.gov/cert/</a><br />
<p$1>We learned a lot of cool things, like how to do search and rescue, evacuation and the way to set up the leadership to orginize everything. So now I can come and rescue you if you have an earthquake or something along those lines.When Herriman was set on fire their CERT team went into action. Here is an article about a CERT team member, also a patient at my mom's work, he's a riot. <a href="http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/lifestyle/50328597-80/cert-herriman-kirby-official.html.csp">http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/lifestyle/50328597-80/cert-herriman-kirby-official.html.csp</a></p$1></p$1>The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-3644053667474945072010-11-04T22:44:00.002-06:002010-11-04T22:57:20.153-06:00BIRTHDAY<p$1><p$1><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><p$1><p$1><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">So as many of you know today is mine and Dylan’s birthday, she is now 9 and I am still 24. She was born the day the Diamondbacks won the World Series, the year on 9/11. When 9/11 happened I really had this strong feeling of why people were bringing children into this crazy world. The world seemed so crazy, well 9 years later it is still a crazy world and I have 4 more children to wonder about. I have watched as Dylan has grown and seen The Lord’s plan for her. I have seen how her strong, fighting, fierce, understanding, wild spirit has taken shape to deal with the onslaught the world has to offer her generation. I have often wondered<br />
if this world can withstand the force of goodness she is just barely coming to understand she has, or if the world will fight to bring her down? I know the world will fight her, but I believe that she was sent to me so I could pass on the strength I have been given by my mother to her and her sisters. They will need this strength to make it in the world today and tomorrow. The fight she will face, she will not face alone. She will have the past generations of strong women to help her along the way. Her great-grandma Garrett, who raised 10 kids and was married during WWII, her grandma Gibbons who was raised in a family of 10 and was in the middle of 6 boys, three older three younger, and me who has shown her that education can change everything and The Lord will make it all possible. She has learned that no matter what stick to your guns, and then the going gets tough, the tough get going, so pull your butt up off the ground and get going. Happy Birthday Dylan! </span></p$1></p$1></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><p$1><p$1><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">If this didn't make you cry, let me know and I will try harder next time. When that was over Wes got bronchiolitis Sunday complete with a hospital visit! Then he gave it to me and then Piper. Victoria got the 24 hour crap and I want to scream. I'm still sick and everyone else is getting better. Maybe it's because I'm too stressed with school and sick kids! They say "This too shall pass" I want to know who "they" are and kick their butts, beacuse from where I'm standing this is never going to be over! Have a great day, some one should! Oh, yea I forgot to tell you I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure, gee I wonder why? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!<br />

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><p$1><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">I was scheduled for a hysterectomy,but my insurance would not pay for it, so I am now on Ross' insurance and haveto start over with a new OB and let's just say I have had it and want to have<br />
no more pain and I never want to bleed again, but I have to wait and have and see what he wants to do.<o:p></o:p></span></p$1></div><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><p$1><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Wes is in half a day Head Start 4 days a week and LOVES it. He will be 4 on the 14th and he is lucky<br />
he is still alive, he makes me crazy. He took the chain saw out of the shed and wanted to cut trees, there was not a chain on it, or gas in it, thank Heaven.<o:p></o:p></span></p$1></div><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><p$1><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">Victoria is in a duel emersion program at her new school. Half of her day is in English and the<br />

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><p$1><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">Paige and Piper in the Home Base program in Head Start, so their teacher comes to the house once a<br />

In the past 2 months we have lived at Primary Childrren's Hospital. Piper was admitted for 5 days beacuse of her asthma, 2 1/2 weeks alter Victoria had emergency sugery, she has a 7cm x 4cm tumor on her right overy, and 2 weeks after that Wes fell out of my dad's truck, no it was not moving, and broke his heel bone on his left foot. Added to all of this I went back to school at the beginning of the year. Paige and Dylan are th only ones that have not been to the hospital, for now.<br />
Congrats to all of you having babies, which seems like most of you. Remind me not to drink the water down there. <br />
I miss you all and will try to post some pictures of all my crazy monsters soon.<br />
Love you all, <br />

What is up with that? 97 here and 91 there it makes no sense. Ok I know there was a storm last night and in 2 hours the temp. dropped 30 degrees, but that was last night. It is suppost to be cooler here. I...just don't get it. Enjoy the cooler weather, I'm sure it won't last too long.The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-63151373840274041612009-08-21T20:21:00.007-06:002009-08-21T21:04:17.423-06:00No Church SundayThis Sunday is the dedication of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. There are 2 sessions that will be broadcast to the stake canters here, one a 9 am and the other at 3 pm. To make this happen the First Presidency has cancelled church here. I can believe it but in the same instant I can't. When was the last time you can remember this happening? I can't think of a single one, but my mind and brain are not really on talking terms right now, so there might be one out there. We are really excited to go, this will be the second one we have been to. (We also went to the Draper Utah Temple dedication.) I'll wave my hankie for you.<br />

I am going nuts. In the past few months a lot has been going on. We have a HUGE garden in the back yard. Tons and tons of apricots and pears and apples. The big girls grew beets, the carrots didn't take, I don't understand what happened there. The little girls turned 2. Now I have 3,2 year olds, until Wes turns 3 in October. Dylan and Victoria flew to Arizona for a week and a half. We went camping for a week down by Manti, Ut. When we came home we found out we brought back a "friend". A squirrel had stowed away somewhere and was eating all the fruit in the trees. Ross, Dylan and Victoria all go back to school on the 24 of Aug. Wes has become addicted to hats, I don't get it he has to have one on all the time. I have even found him sleeping with one on? Wes went Home Teaching with my dad when his companion couldn't go. He was sooo excited. I still have no idea why I'm in constant pain, the cystes are gone but the pain remains, I just don't understand.<br />That's what is going on here. Let us know if you come to Utah we would love to see you. When i find a usb cable you will have pictures.The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-86964911617960599692009-05-13T15:10:00.004-06:002009-05-13T15:15:13.708-06:00The girls and karateThe girls decided that they wanted to take karate and cheer leading. We meet him at several of the to see the sites. We went with him to This Is The Place Heritage Park. As we were on our way there I was telling Victoria how the pioneers knew where they were going. I told her about Brigham Young having a dream about where they were going. Well this is how the story was told later to Ross. She told him how the pioneers came here to This Is The Place and Jesus told them that this is where the Olympics should come.? Don't ask me I don't know, but we all sure got a good laugh.<br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f544d7a4d546b794e773d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox photobook: This Is The Place" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f544d7a4d546b794e773d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=neverblue&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own photobook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/photobooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox photobook</a></td></tr></table>The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-81327317321626903162009-05-13T13:33:00.003-06:002009-05-13T14:03:51.897-06:00The Church History MuseumWe went to The Church History Museum and the kids loved it. They got to pretend that they were speaking from the pulpit in The Tabernacle. Dylan was at the pulpit at The Conference Center. The little ones loved the Primary part. They all colored papers that looked like stain glass windows, got dressed up in clothes from the time Jesus was born and the 3 little ones loved the babies. not a bad way to spend a day.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f544d7a4d5455334f413d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox scrapbook: Chruch Hist Mus" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f544d7a4d5455334f413d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=neverblue&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></table>The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-46305718602797850552009-04-01T19:31:00.004-06:002009-04-01T19:42:27.855-06:00The Polls Are In.The polls are in and most of you are right. I do not have a tattoo. The weird thing is I always wanted one but had a HUGE fear of needles. That fear disappeared when I had kids. But I don't have a tattoo. I do have 8 ear piercings and REALLY want a Fat Boy. I only wear earrings in one hole and don't have a Fat Boy....YET...one day I will.The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-60650991957161457202009-03-23T13:09:00.002-06:002009-03-23T14:28:24.614-06:00Winter treesThis is what the trees look like form out back door, when there is snow.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f444d7a4e6a41334e673d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox photobook: Out the back door" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f444d7a4e6a41334e673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=neverblue&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own photobook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/photobooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox photobook</a></td></tr></table>The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-91986878737440328772009-03-23T13:02:00.000-06:002009-03-23T13:03:31.944-06:00My AntsThe snow melted and we could go and play.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f444d7a4e546b354e773d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox scrapbook: My Ants" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f444d7a4e546b354e773d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=neverblue&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></table>The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-6633704233218517762009-03-23T12:49:00.001-06:002009-03-23T12:51:18.098-06:00CousinsThere are six cousins under 3 in this family, 3 belong to me 2 to my sister Randel and 1 to my sister Trudy. Paige really loved the Celestial Room, she did not want to leave the room. We learned that the Draper Temple has the Worlds Biggest Sealing Room. It holds up to 80 people and I'm sure more could easily fit in there. On Sunday Ross, my dad and myself went to the dedication of the Draper Temple. My mom stayed home with the kids. Now we can go to the Draper Temple, if we can get an appointment. Soooooo cool.<br />

On Sat. it was 70 degrees here and now there is a lot of heavy snow. There is 5 inches out there right now, I just took this picture.<br />

I couldn't decide which picture to use so you get them all.<br />

Dylan is getting braces on Wed. Well not really braces, she is getting a Dewey Appliance. It is like a retainer but straightens teeth. She is loving school and LOVES the snow.<br />
Victoria is upset that we could not find her a pre-school and really misses Getz and Escalante. She has fallen in LOVE with Scooby-Doo and wants to watch it all the time, she is watching it right now as I am typing.<br />
Wes loves to help grandpa outside. He loves outside, you turn around and he has opened the door and is out.<br />
Paige has taken a long time to really warm up to the change. She loves my brother and if he is here she is usually on his lap.<br />
Piper is Piper. Her asthma was doing great until late last week. We haven't been giving her breathing treatments at all until last week. She sits with my mom and they do the treatment together.<br />
Right after we moved in our stake and ward went though a lot of changes. Our stake got a few new wards from another stake and the all the wards were reorganized. So there were a lot of changes in all the organizations. There were also a lot of hurt feelings and upset people, but things are much better now.<br />
Ross is working for Jordan School District in the mornings and attending U of U at night. We get to see him a little more then we used to. He was just called to be the Sunday School Pres. Lucky for him the previous Pres. filled all the callings and got all the classed in order so he doesn't have to worry about much. Thanks Dad. My dad was the Sunday School Pres. now he is the High Priest Group Leader.<br />
As for me....life is good. I was called as a Gospel Doctrine teacher, thanks Dad, and I love it. When Ross was called to be Pres. he said,"I guess I'm in charge of you now." I just let him believe whatever he wants to. <br />
So there you have it. We are all alive and well. Sorry it has been so long I just get lost in our lives and I couldn't find my USB cable. I promise to do better in the future.The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-66668807848337187542009-01-13T17:08:00.002-07:002009-01-13T17:11:35.362-07:00The answer.Well time is up and the small anount of you that voted get to find out the answer to Which one is the lie? Well the answer is i have not read all of The Work and The Glory. I was gothic in high school black hair and all and I did bungee jump for my 16th birthday. Sky diving here I come. So what do you think? How did you do?The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31089366.post-80191362319487902942009-01-01T14:35:00.002-07:002009-01-01T14:46:37.429-07:00How well do we know each other?So now that I have moved I have begun to remember the qualities that all my friends in Arizona have and want to find new friends here that have the same or similar qualities. In my Arizona ward there were several young families and lots of kids, in my new Utah ward there are not very many kids, I felt like it was a singles ward on Sunday it was so quiet. In my new ward most of the people are my mom's age, I felt like my kids were the atomic bomb going off in church, not that they were louder here, it's just that there are NO little kids. I began to wonder about all the older ladies and wonder what they were like. I wondered if they had some of those qualities I was looking for? I know they do, but then my crazy mind began to wonder and wounder about how well I knew all of my friends back in Arizona and how well they really knew me. So, I propose a game for everyone and anyone who wants to play. Post a poll on the side of your blog with 3 things about you make 2 the truth and 1 a lie give people a few days then admit to the lie and see how everyone does. Here is mine see how you do, and have fun.The Crazy Holdenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00682598899964559767noreply@blogger.com4
